Good to know before you start
Is YouLab a lab?
No. YouLab is a platform that connects you with accredited labs. The partner lab collects and analyzes your sample, and YouLab takes care of everything from search to results.
Are prices on YouLab higher than at the lab?
No, the other way round. YouLab's price is always lower than the lab's own price. You see both before you book: the lab's price struck through and yours next to it, and the final price before you pay.
Does the assistant diagnose me?
No. The assistant explains your results and points out values outside the normal range, but diagnosis and treatment always come from your doctor. If a value needs urgent attention, we tell you to contact your doctor right away.
How do you protect my medical data?
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest and kept on secure servers. Only you, the lab that ran the tests, and the people you choose to share with can see your results.
Is home collection available in my area?
Home collection is available in Cairo, Giza and Alexandria. Type your area in the chat and you will see the available labs and times right away.
How can I pay?
Bank card or Meeza, mobile wallets, and InstaPay. Some labs also let you pay at collection.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Yes. Cancelling or rescheduling is free up to 3 hours before your appointment, and the refund goes back to the same payment method.
When and how do I get my results?
As soon as the lab uploads your results you get a message, and you will find them in the app with the explanation. You can download the lab's original PDF or share it with your doctor through a secure link.
